Biden’s Balance Blunders: Is the President Grounded for Good?

President Joe Biden, 81 years old, seems to be spending more time on the ground than in the Oval Office. In a recent report, it was revealed that Biden is grappling with atrial fibrillation, peripheral neuropathy in his feet, and hyperlipidemia. This news comes as no surprise, considering his embarrassing track record of tripping and taking spills while attempting to board Air Force One and, well, just about anywhere he goes.

In an effort to prevent further stumbling, Biden is now using the shorter staircase to board Air Force One. The struggle is real, folks. It seems as though even the tall plane stairs are no match for Biden’s knack for gravity check-ins. On that note, let’s take a stroll down memory lane and reminisce about the top five times President Biden has publicly lost his balance.

In February, Biden teetered and tottered on the steps of Air Force One in Poland, managing to catch himself before taking a tumble. Then in March, he nearly bit the dust once again while climbing the stairs to board the presidential aircraft.

May brought another stumble for Biden, this time at the Itsukushima Shrine during his foreign trip to meet with G7 leaders. Even on the world stage, he couldn’t seem to find his footing. Fast forward to June, and we witnessed Biden taking a massive spill on stage at the U.S. Air Force Academy graduation ceremony. Some might say he really “fell” into his role as president.

Just when we thought the fall frenzy was over, October rolled in and Biden almost wiped out while attempting to ascend a short flight of stairs in Philadelphia. It’s as if stairs have a personal vendetta against him! If these incidents are any indication, it looks like Biden might benefit from a pair of skis rather than a pair of dress shoes.
