President Joe Biden’s border policies are causing chaos at the southern border, and many Americans want answers. According to Carlson, the Democrats’ plan has four key points. First, there are at least 22 million illegal immigrants living in the United States, according to a study from Yale. That’s double the generally accepted number. This mass influx is causing huge problems, and it seems the Democrats want to sweep it under the rug.
Secondly, the Democratic Party seemingly wants to grant citizenship to every illegal alien in the country. Their 2016 and 2020 party platforms indicate a clear intent to turn these illegal immigrants into voting citizens. And here’s the kicker: studies show the vast majority of first-time immigrant voters lean Democrat.
Carlson argues that if this plan succeeds, Democrats will have a permanent electoral majority for the foreseeable future. It’s a power grab, plain and simple, and it’s at the expense of American workers. And let’s face it – it’s a pretty sly move, giving the Democrats a leg up in future elections.
But hold up, not so fast – Tucker’s concerns might not be as dire as he makes them out to be. Sure, illegal immigration is a problem that needs addressing, and granting amnesty to illegals is a terrible idea.
