The Biden administration’s mishandling of the border crisis is truly remarkable, and it’s reaching unprecedented levels. In December alone, the CBP encountered over 300,000 illegal aliens, the highest number for any month in the year and the most since 2000.

This is a national security crisis, as noted by Representative Mike Garcia. It’s clear that Joe Biden’s open-border policies and Alejandro Mayorkas’ reluctance to enforce the law are only exacerbating the problem. It’s time for them to step up and take responsibility.
Our friends over at Townhall have uncovered a disturbing story that reveals just how far the Biden team will go to undermine efforts to deal with illegal aliens. They have halted the 287(g) program, which enables ICE to partner with local law enforcement to identify and remove criminal illegal aliens.
According to the Immigration Reform Law Institute (IRLI), the program was ended shortly after Biden took office. They provided no reason for this abrupt halt, keeping the American people in the dark. It’s almost as if they want to hide their actions and inhibit ICE from dealing with criminal illegal aliens. Could it be that Biden is pandering to the radical left again?
Why are we learning about this through a lawsuit? The Biden administration claims to be the most transparent in history, but they seem to conveniently forget to inform the American people about their controversial immigration policies. This lack of transparency raises serious questions about their motives.
The IRLI had to file FOIA requests to obtain internal documents on the program suspension, but the Biden team refused to comply. It’s unacceptable. Increased cooperation between ICE and local law enforcement is crucial for keeping our communities safe, yet the Biden administration wants to limit these efforts. They prioritize protecting criminal aliens over American citizens.
Congress needs to demand answers. What is the Biden team hiding? Why are they sabotaging the fight against criminal illegal aliens? It’s time for accountability. The American people deserve to know the truth and see the evidence of the administration’s misdeeds.
The border crisis and the undermining of programs like 287(g) highlight the urgency for strong conservative leadership. The Texas National Guard taking control of an immigration checkpoint and ousting the ineffective Border Patrol shows that when push comes to shove, conservatives don’t mess around. We need more leaders like that to protect our borders and safeguard our country from the disastrous policies of the Biden administration.
