Amidst all the chaos surrounding President Joe Biden’s campaign, it seems like his supporters are starting to worry. Take, for example, the Lincoln Project co-founder and Biden supporter Steve Schmidt, who is now concerned about Biden’s campaign being in a “death spiral.” And let’s be honest, if there’s one person who knows about “death spirals,” it’s a member of the Lincoln Project. They practically invented them!

But what’s got Schmidt so worked up? Well, it appears that a damning report by Special Counsel Robert Hur has exposed Biden’s “hazy” memory and inability to recall his own son’s passing. Now, I don’t know about you, but I sure wouldn’t want a president with a memory so hazy that they can’t even remember their own family tragedies. It’s like having a goldfish run the country!
And if that wasn’t bad enough, Biden recently faced the cameras and managed to confuse the leader of Egypt with the leader of Mexico. I mean, seriously? How hard is it to remember who you’re dealing with? It’s not like they both share a border or have any major geopolitical issues… Oh, wait, they do. Well, I guess we can just chalk it up to another “senior moment” for ol’ Joe.
Even conservative media personalities like Glen Beck are starting to predict that the Democrat nominee will be Michelle Obama. And I have to say, that wouldn’t be too surprising. After all, who better to bring in than someone with zero political experience and a last name that liberals drool over? It’s like a two-for-one special for the left!
But let’s not forget about Schmidt’s recommendation of Governor Wes Moore. It’s clear that he’s trying to drum up support for an open Democratic convention. You see, the Democrats are starting to realize that they might need a backup plan because, let’s face it, Biden just isn’t cutting it. Even Schmidt himself admitted that it’s “absurd” to think that Biden is the strongest candidate to defeat Donald Trump. And I have to agree with him on that one. It’s like putting a squirrel up against a lion and expecting the squirrel to come out on top.
As the names of potential replacements like Obama, Moore, Harris, Newsom, and Whitmer are being thrown around, it’s becoming clear that the upcoming months leading to the convention could be nothing short of chaotic. But hey, at least it’ll be entertaining to watch, right? Just make sure you have plenty of popcorn ready, because this show is far from over.
In the end, it’s becoming more and more evident that Biden’s campaign is in trouble. Whether it’s his failing memory, embarrassing gaffes, or the fact that even his staunchest supporters are starting to jump ship, it’s clear that he’s not the strong and stable leader that America needs.
