Democrats have once again shown their mastery of hypocrisy, particularly when it comes to their lectures on “election denialism.” They never shy away from lecturing Republicans about questioning election results, but conveniently forget their own history of denying election outcomes.

Let’s start with the 2016 election, when Democrats couldn’t accept the fact that Hillary Clinton lost. They insisted that she “really” won, completely disregarding the will of the American people. And let’s not forget Stacey Abrams, who continuously claimed that Brian Kemp stole the 2018 Georgia gubernatorial election from her. Apparently, it’s only election denialism when Republicans do it.
The latest example of election denialism comes from none other than President Joe Biden himself. In a speech in Virginia, Biden referred to Terry McAuliffe as the “real governor” of Virginia, completely ignoring the fact that Glenn Youngkin won the election fair and square. It’s astonishing to see Biden, who claims to defend our democracy, engage in such blatant denialism.
Youngkin, rightfully frustrated, took to Twitter to respond to Biden’s baseless claim. The Virginia GOP also chimed in with some inconvenient facts for the president. It’s clear that Biden’s denialism knows no bounds.
This isn’t the first time Biden has questioned the legitimacy of election results. During a press conference, he suggested that the 2022 midterms might not be “legitimate” if voting rights legislation isn’t passed. He even hinted that Republicans could allegedly rig the elections. It’s the classic case of the pot calling the kettle black.
Remember, it’s perfectly acceptable for Democrats to question election results and drag them to court. But if you’re a Republican like Senators Josh Hawley or Ted Cruz, it turns you into an “insurrectionist.” It’s a double standard that Democrats conveniently ignore.
Thank you, Joe Biden, for once again proving our point about Democrats and their hypocrisy when it comes to questioning election results. It’s truly mind-boggling how they can’t see their own two-faced behavior. But then again, they make it way too easy for us to point out their absurdity.
In the end, it’s clear that Democrats have perfected the art of election denialism, and their lectures on the matter are nothing more than political posturing.
