On Monday, Joe Biden took a vacation from his usual schedule to attend a civil rights event. While he was there, he told a story about a famous individual who tried to block the Civil Rights Act of 1957. Senator Strom Thurmond of South Carolina was the subject of the anecdote.

It is impossible to believe that Biden made up his statement about the Civil Rights Act. Everyone knows that Strom Thurmond, a segregationist, opposed the legislation in 1957 and 1964. His comments were made on the anniversary of the longest filibuster in history, which was carried out by Thurmond. It is a shame that the president still has a hard time remembering facts and dates.

Fox News pointed out that he was only 21 when the Civil Rights Act was passed, which is the same age as Thurmond was when he opposed it. It's unbelievable that Biden was able to twist the facts to fit his story.

It is shameful that Biden would try to take credit for the sacrifices and hard work of individuals who fought for civil rights.
It's also clear that Biden has a history of lying about his involvement in the civil rights cause. Throughout his political career, he has been able to manipulate the truth in order to make himself look better. He'll do anything to make himself look better, even if it involves rewriting history.
Despite the challenges that people are going through, Biden is still going on vacation. It's another example of his failure to connect with the American people. Instead of going on holiday trips, Biden should be focused on the issues that are affecting the country. This administration has a lot of problems, and it's time for him to get his facts straight.
