Joe Biden strikes again with yet another embarrassing senior moment. In a recent interview, the President of the United States forgot the name of his own Secretary of Defense, Lloyd Austin, and instead referred to him as “the black man.” Smooth move, Joe.
But what’s even more perplexing is Biden’s claim that he’s getting “heat” for naming Austin as his pick for Defense Secretary. Can anyone recall any uproar over this appointment? I certainly can’t. It seems like Biden is inventing drama to deflect from his forgetfulness.
Oh, but let’s not forget the real issue here – the lack of accountability within the Biden administration. Austin’s secret hospitalization earlier this year, during crucial international conflicts, was a glaring failure of transparency. But did anyone face the consequences for this? Of course not. Biden couldn’t bear to fire one of his “diverse” cabinet members, even if it meant sacrificing accountability.

This incident highlights Biden’s obsession with identity politics. He’s more concerned with pandering to minority voters than ensuring competency and transparency within his administration. Biden is willing to overlook serious mistakes as long as they are made by someone who checks a certain diversity box.
Can you imagine the outrage if it had been former President Donald Trump who forgot the name of one of his cabinet members and referred to them as a “black man”? The media would have gone into a frenzy, accusing Trump of racism and incompetence. But when Biden does it? Crickets.
Once again, Biden’s memory lapses, and identity politics take center stage. It’s a sad state of affairs when the President of the United States can’t even remember the names of his own team members. But hey, at least he remembered the guy’s skin color, right?
