The White House X account, or as I like to call it, the propaganda machine, is at it again, trying to convince hardworking Americans that everything is rainbows and butterflies under the Biden-Harris administration. But the reality is, people are feeling the squeeze, especially during the holiday season.

The post claims that costs are down for everything from airline tickets to car rentals, but let’s be real here, folks. Have you tried booking a flight or renting a car lately? Prices are through the roof! And who’s to blame? Well, it’s none other than the “Bidenomics” that this president loves to tout. It’s like he’s trying to break records for the highest gas prices and the most expensive Thanksgiving dinners ever.
But don’t just take my word for it. The polls don’t lie. Biden’s approval rating is plummeting faster than a lead balloon. Overall, he’s sitting at a measly 40.8 percent approval rating, and when it comes to inflation, it’s even worse, at a pitiful 33.6 percent. Americans aren’t dumb. They can see through the smoke and mirrors of this administration and they’re not buying it.
And if that wasn’t enough, the White House had the audacity to post about gas prices being down. Sure, they might be down from their peak, but they’re still higher than when Biden took office. It’s like the Democrats have a playbook for deceptive bragging about gas prices. Remember back in December 2021 when the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee put out a graph celebrating a 2-cent drop in gas prices? Yeah, we’re still waiting for those prices to actually go down.
But it doesn’t stop there. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre joined in on the fun, bragging about costs during a briefing. She went on and on about gas prices, airline tickets, and even grocery inflation. I don’t know about you, but I don’t think the American people are thanking their lucky stars for lower prices on eggs and whipping cream when they’re struggling to make ends meet.
And let’s not forget what the White House conveniently didn’t post about. While they were busy patting themselves on the back for their supposed accomplishments, they remained silent on the Israel and Hamas hostage negotiations. It’s almost as if they have their priorities all mixed up. But hey, at least they found time to talk about the “impacts of the climate crisis” on Alaska salmon. Because that’s definitely what Americans are most concerned about right now.
So, as we gather around the Thanksgiving table, let’s not be fooled by the White House’s attempts to spin the truth. The Biden-Harris administration may claim to be working for hardworking families, but all they’re really doing is squeezing every last penny out of our pockets. It’s time for a reality check, folks. They’re not creating breathing room, they’re suffocating us.
