The Biden administration has made a completely unbelievable move by re-employing James Clapper and John Brennan, two individuals who have a long history of dishonesty and misleading the American people. These two men were at the forefront of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, which was nothing more than a witch hunt against President Trump. Clapper, who served as Barack Obama’s Director of National Intelligence, has been accused of lying to Congress, while Brennan, Obama’s former CIA Director, has also faced credible accusations of dishonesty.

Both Clapper and Brennan have a track record of making wild and unsubstantiated claims on cable news about Russian collusion during Trump’s presidency. They were even the main signatories of a letter in 2020 that falsely claimed the Hunter Biden laptop story was “Russian disinformation.” It’s clear that these men have no credibility or integrity.
But now, in a mind-boggling move, the Biden administration has chosen to bring them back into the federal government. They will be serving as “experts” on a Department of Homeland Security committee, advising on national security issues. It’s truly astonishing that the administration would trust these individuals, considering their history of spreading misinformation.
This decision highlights the lack of accountability in our government. Clapper and Brennan have never been held responsible for their repeated lies and deceit. Instead, they are being rewarded with positions of power and influence once again. It’s a slap in the face to the American people who deserve honesty and transparency from their leaders.
Furthermore, it’s laughable to think that Clapper and Brennan have any actual expertise to offer in areas like transborder issues, terrorism, and emerging technologies. Their track records speak for themselves. It’s clear that their presence on this committee will do more harm than good.
