Americans will soon witness the cringe-worthy tradition of the State of the Union address, a spectacle that goes against the essence of our great nation. Back in the day, Thomas Jefferson nixed the idea of an in-person speech, deeming it too reminiscent of British monarchs talking down to the common folk. But leave it to Woodrow Wilson, one of the worst and most power-hungry presidents, to bring back this display of self-importance in 1913. And here we are, with Joe Biden gearing up to deliver what the biased media will surely paint as a momentous speech in his failing presidency.
Now, for all you Republicans out there, here’s some sound advice: Keep it zipped. I know the temptation to call out Biden’s blunders is strong, but now’s not the time to steal his thunder. The last thing we need is to hand Biden and his media cronies the perfect distraction from his multitude of failures. Remember Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert’s outbursts in 2022? All it did was give Biden the sympathy card he didn’t deserve.

In 2024, Biden is barely holding it together, both in terms of popularity and mental sharpness. Let that be the narrative. Let the spotlight shine on his cognitive decline, not your impromptu antics. Save the drama for Twitter and let Biden dig his own political grave. It’s time to play it smart, folks. Sit tight, stay silent, and watch the show unfold.
