Clooney’s complaints about age and declining performance eerily underscore the disconnect within the Democratic party. The schadenfreude from Trump supporters reached a fever pitch as Clooney lamented his role in what is now a public relations disaster for the left. In the backdrop of all this Democratic dramedy, the revelation that it was Obama pulling Clooney’s strings adds yet another layer of absurdity.
