The ongoing protests against Israel at colleges have stirred up trouble lately. Some say that the police should get involved to handle the pro-Palestinian demonstrators causing a ruckus. A professor at Columbia University, Shai Davidai, called out Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for supporting these protesters who she claimed were peaceful.
Ocasio-Cortez criticized the university president for even suggesting the National Guard should step in to deal with the Gaza Solidarity Encampment on campus. She believes calling the police on students peacefully protesting is reckless and dangerous.

However, Professor Davidai strongly disagreed with AOC and others who shared her views. He appeared on Fox News to express his frustrations, labeling AOC as an “agent of chaos.” He criticized her and others for spreading what he called dangerous lies about the protests not being violent.
Davidai even faced backlash from the university when they deactivated his keycard, preventing him from entering campus. He made a statement claiming the university failed to protect him as a Jewish professor, comparing the situation to a dark period in history.
He urged the university’s COO to take action against the extremist protesters and anti-Semitic groups on campus. Davidai challenged the leadership to have the courage to stand up against terrorism and make the right decisions to maintain safety and order on campus.
