Crime Scene Bulldozed: Fury as Murder House Leveled Before Trial

The demolition of the house in Moscow, Idaho where four University of Idaho students were brutally murdered last year has finally taken place, despite the outcry from the victims’ families trying to halt the destruction. The four victims, Ethan Chapin, Kaylee Goncalves, Madison Mogen, and Xana Kernodle, tragically lost their lives in this senseless act of violence.

The families of the victims were not on board with this plan, no sir! They begged and pleaded with the university and the prosecutor’s office to put the demolition on ice until after the trial of the suspected killer, Bryan Kohberger. They were worried about crucial evidence being wiped out, which could jeopardize getting justice for their loved ones.

There was even a petition with over 10,000 signatures crying out to stop the demolition until after the trial. And guess who was one of the vocal supporters? Cara Kernodle, Xana Kernodle’s mother. She straight up said, “My daughter was murdered in that house and there is no way they should be destroying any evidence.”

The Chaplin family was actually cool with the university’s decision to bulldoze the place. They stated that they were all for it, reasoning that it would benefit the university, the students, and the Moscow community. And the university didn’t waste a second defending their actions, claiming that removing the property would help the neighborhood move forward. They even have plans to plant some grass over the area.
