Democratic governors are demanding a White House meeting to discuss President Biden’s latest debate disaster, as reported on Tuesday. It appears the left is finally waking up to what conservatives have been pointing out all along: Biden’s not exactly presidential material.
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz took charge of the pity parade on Monday, organizing a call where Democratic governors and White House officials gathered to bemoan Biden’s bungling debate performance. Even the Biden campaign got a front-row seat to the pity party. To nobody’s surprise, Biden himself was too busy to attend. He must have been practicing his next gaffe.

These governors are like deer caught in the headlights, unsure whether to ditch Biden or stick with him as the Democratic ship sinks. They’re scared that going public will only make the president dig in his heels more. They’d hope to get some kind of leadership from Biden, but the guy’s busy doing who knows what—probably forgetting what he’s doing.
Adding to their misery, NBC reports that Biden hasn’t even bothered to reach out to Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer or House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries. You’d think he’d at least placate his top allies, but nope. Instead, he’s letting Trump run circles around him while Democrats scramble to save face.
Democrats in key battleground states are pulling their hair out, kept in the dark without any guidance on damage control. Meanwhile, Biden’s questionable mental sharpness gets harder to ignore, even for his own party. Looks like 2024 is shaping up to be a walk in the park for the GOP.
