The Democratic Party is shivering in their boots over the potential threat of third-party candidates swooping in and ruining their chances at the White House once again. After former President Donald Trump surfed to victory on the backs of those pesky third-party candidates in 2016, the Democrats are determined to avoid history’s cruel repetition.

In a wild turn of events, despite a whopping 8 million voters casting their ballots for someone other than Clinton or Trump, Trump still managed to snatch the win, leaving the Democrats scratching their heads and shedding tears. Those dastardly Libertarians and Green Party members, Gary Johnson and Jill Stein, managed to steal millions of votes away, and the Democrats are not about to let that happen again.
Now, with President Joe Biden in the hot seat, the Democrats are rolling up their sleeves to tackle this third-party menace. The Democratic National Committee has summoned the help of Lis Smith, a political pro, in their quest to conquer the third-party obstacle. They are pulling out all the stops, using tactics like opposition research and legal challenges to trip up these pesky independents and prevent them from snatching any votes away from Biden.
One such rebel causing quite the ruckus is independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The DNC is throwing everything and the kitchen sink at this guy, even filing a complaint with the Federal Election Commission, alleging that Kennedy is breaking the rules by playing footsie with a super PAC. It’s a full-on political showdown, with Kennedy facing off against the Democratic operatives’ artillery of aggressive criticism and legal maneuvers.
But it doesn’t stop there! The drama is unfolding like a reality TV show, as Kennedy considers recruiting none other than anti-vaccine advocate and NFL quarterback Aaron Rodgers as his running mate. The Democrats are having a field day mocking this potential duo, calling them “The Three Stooges reunion no one was asking for.” Ouch! Shots fired!
As if that weren’t enough, a center-left Democratic group, Third Way, is adding fuel to the fire by filing complaints against the super PAC backing Kennedy. They’re waving red flags and sounding the alarms in Arizona, Georgia, and Michigan, warning about this mysterious group known as No Labels and their plans for a bipartisan unity ticket in the 2024 presidential election.
The Democrats are sweating bullets, fearing that these third-party troublemakers could pave the way for another Trump victory. Will the Democrats manage to squash this rebellion and secure their path to victory? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure — the political arena is heating up, and the Democrats are ready to rumble.
