Epcot employees were informed about the program through flyers posted around the attraction, and some employees have expressed their discontent with the new diversity, equity, and inclusion initiative. The website’s report has already caused a stir among Disney fans, many of whom are outraged by yet another woke program sponsored by the “Mouse House”.
Interestingly, this new program is being introduced just after Disney CEO Bob Iger promised to “quiet the noise” surrounding the company’s woke policies. It also comes at a time when Disney is facing significant financial difficulties, with its holdings drowning in red ink. The company has been forced to downsize and has laid off more than 7,000 employees worldwide over the past year.
