TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, also known as a puppet of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), faced a tough grilling from lawmakers on Capitol Hill over the weekend. Members of Congress were demanding answers regarding the extent of the spying activities of the Chinese-owned application within the United States.

When California Democrat Anna Eshoo questioned Chew about the CCP having access to data captured by the app, he claimed that the Chinese Communist Party has no such access. However, his response was both a blatant lie and totally preposterous, considering that the CCP has infiltrated all areas of Chinese society, including private businesses.

Chew did not stop there, as he even allowed his platform to host death threats aimed at fellow lawmakers who dared to stand up for American values. This is yet another example of the dangerous and violent tendencies of the leftists who are more than willing to suppress conservative voices.
Several security assessments have also highlighted TikTok as a threat to our national security. The Chinese government can use the spy app to accumulate data on millions of American soldiers and citizens, which can then be used to harm our national interests.
As FBI Director Christopher Wray pointed out, the app screams of security concerns. The app can be used by the CCP to manipulate the software on millions of devices and promote narratives to divide Americans over sensitive issues such as Taiwan.
It’s high time we wake up and realize that China is using TikTok as a tool to infiltrate not only personal data but also American minds. We cannot allow this CCP-backed application to harm our interest, and it is time for us to enforce strict regulations before it’s too late.
