The FBI is currently conducting a thorough search of former Vice President Mike Pence’s home in Indiana. This search is being conducted with the permission of Pence and his private attorney, who is present at the residence. The search is being conducted in response to reports that President Joe Biden’s lawyers found classified documents at the Penn Biden Center on November 2nd and the President’s Delaware home on December 20th, January 11th, January 12th, and January 20th.

In response to these reports, Pence’s team engaged outside counsel to look for classified documents in his home. On January 18th, Pence’s team contacted the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) requesting assistance to collect and transfer a small number of classified documents bearing classification markings. The Department of Justice (DOJ) then sent FBI agents to collect the documents on January 19th, when Pence was attending the March for Life in Washington D.C.
The purpose of the FBI’s search is to ensure that all classified documents are properly collected and transferred to the NARA. It is unclear what documents, if any, were found during the search. The FBI has not released any information regarding the search or its findings.
The implications of this search are yet to be seen. It is possible that the documents found could have an impact on the Biden Administration or even on Pence himself. It is also possible that no documents were found and that this search was simply a precautionary measure taken by Pence’s team.
At this time, it is uncertain what will come of the FBI’s search of Mike Pence’s home. It is clear, however, that Pence and his team are taking all necessary steps to ensure that all classified documents are properly collected and transferred to the NARA.
