As Israel continues its valiant fight against the terrorist organization Hamas in the Gaza Strip, there is an overwhelming international pressure for a ceasefire or humanitarian pause. But let’s be real here – why should Israel stop fighting when Hamas keeps provoking them with attacks? It’s like telling a boxer to stop throwing punches while his opponent is still swinging at him. It’s just not logical!
Sure, in the past, we’ve seen calls for a cessation of hostilities, but this time it’s different. Hamas took things to a whole new level of barbarism with their October 7 attack. They have shown their true colors, and Israel has had enough. They are in it for the long haul and won’t stop until Hamas is neutralized. Good for them!

But here’s the kicker – Israeli forces plan to remain in the Gaza Strip for the foreseeable future. This has put them on a collision course with none other than Washington. Why? Because they’re not bowing down to the pressure of so-called international actors who have a clear bias against Israel. Those pushing for a ceasefire are often the most progressive, antisemitic, and pro-terrorist voices out there. It’s just mind-boggling!
Now, amidst all the chaos and baseless accusations of genocide, we have one nation standing out and showing support for Israel in their fight against these terrorists: Germany. Yes, you heard it right, Germany! The same country that has had its own dark history is now standing up and declaring its “historical responsibility to Israel.” Talk about a surprise twist!
So when German Vice Chancellor Robert Habek spoke out in support of Israel, it truly left people stunned. One grandchild of Holocaust survivors even thanked Germany for its support. Can you believe it? The tables have turned, and it’s the Germans who are now reminding the world of the facts and condemning the October 7th holocaust deniers. It’s a surreal moment in history, especially for a grandchild of Holocaust survivors like myself.
But let’s not forget, Germany didn’t just stop at declarations of support. They also rebuffed efforts for an immediate ceasefire. Chancellor Olaf Scholz made it clear that calls for an immediate ceasefire are simply not right. He understands that Israel needs to protect itself and can’t just pause while Hamas continues to attack. It’s refreshing to see a leader who isn’t falling for the faux humanitarianism and false accusations against the IDF.
So, here’s a shoutout to Germany for being a voice of reason in a sea of biased condemnation. It’s about time someone stood up to the hypocrites and defended Israel’s right to protect and defend itself. Thank you, Germany, for getting it right when so many others have failed miserably.
