In yet another bold move demonstrating his commitment to protecting Texas, Governor Greg Abbott has come out swinging against the Biden administration’s disastrous border policies. With a hard-hitting statement, Governor Abbott put the federal government on notice that Texas will not stand idly by while illegal immigration runs rampant.

And Governor Abbott is not afraid to call a spade a spade, using the term “illegal immigration” instead of the wishy-washy terms favored by the left. It seems like Governor Abbott has had enough, and he’s not alone in his frustration.
But here’s where it gets interesting, folks. Governor Abbott is not just venting his anger, he’s also backing it up with constitutional authority. Citing Article I, § 10, Clause 3 of the Constitution, Governor Abbott declares that Texas has the right to self-defense and will use that authority to protect its borders. The Supreme Court has already ruled against Texas, telling them to stand aside and let the federal forces handle the situation. But Texas isn’t backing down. We’ve got over six million illegal aliens invading our territory, and we have no idea who they are or what they’re planning to do. The Constitution clearly gives states the power to defend themselves when the federal government fails to act. Other states may even join in this fight, folks.
