In a shocking incident at Joel Osteen’s megachurch in Houston, a shooter opened fire, injuring two individuals. But what makes this story even more disturbing is the message painted on the shooter’s weapon – “Free Palestine.” That’s right, folks, another case of radical left-wing extremism being carried out in the name of a controversial political cause.

According to reports from CNN, the suspect, who happened to be a woman, walked into the Lakewood Church wielding an AR-15, with those inflammatory words boldly displayed on its barrel. Thankfully, the police were able to respond swiftly and neutralize the threat before more harm could be done. Kudos to Chief of Police Troy Finner for praising the officers’ bravery and quick action. It goes to show that even in the face of danger, our law enforcement officers are determined to protect and serve.
As authorities investigate this horrific incident, they are working alongside the FBI to uncover the shooter’s true identity and any potential motives behind her actions. It’s crucial that we get to the bottom of this and ensure that justice is served. The safety of our citizens, especially in places of worship, should never be compromised by those who seek to use violence to push their political agenda.
It’s also worth noting that the shooter allegedly claimed to have left a bomb in the church, further escalating the terror. Fortunately, no explosive device was found, but the fact that someone would stoop so low as to threaten innocent lives in such a manner is deeply unsettling. This is yet another reminder of the lengths some will go to promote their radical ideologies.
