Heroic Republican Candidate Defends Trump’s Right to Be on State Ballot- You Won’t Believe the Liberal Obstruction!

In a bold move of support, Vivek Ramaswamy, the Republican presidential candidate, filed an amicus brief to the U.S. Supreme Court backing none other than Donald Trump himself. Ramaswamy made it clear that he was not going to sit back while the Colorado Supreme Court tried to remove Trump from the state’s 2024 election ballot. And who can blame him? It’s clear that his political opponents are just afraid that they can’t beat him in a fair fight!

Ramaswamy’s amicus brief, filed by his attorneys, argued against the Colorado Supreme Court’s decision. He didn’t mince words either, calling the ruling “un-American, unconstitutional, and unprecedented.” And he’s absolutely right! This decision could set a dangerous precedent, giving free rein to partisan efforts to subvert candidates in future elections. We can’t let that happen!

But Ramaswamy didn’t stop there. He laid out the potential consequences of this decision in no uncertain terms. He warned that secretaries of state and state supreme court justices would now have a clear path to gaining national notoriety. All they have to do is come up with some excuse to declare a disfavored presidential candidate ineligible. It’s a recipe for disaster!

Let’s not forget why Trump was disqualified from the Colorado ballot in the first place. They cited Section 3 of the 14th Amendment, which says that an “officer of the United States” who “engaged in insurrection” is ineligible to hold any office. Ramaswamy brushed off this argument, pointing out that Trump is not an “officer of the United States.” He’s absolutely correct! The clause does not describe the President as an “officer.” It’s just another case of his opponents clutching at straws.

Ramaswamy’s commitment to this cause is commendable. He even pledged to withdraw himself from the Colorado ballot as a show of solidarity with Trump. And now, with the Supreme Court agreeing to hear Trump’s appeal, there’s hope on the horizon. Oral arguments have been scheduled for February 8th, and we can only hope that justice will prevail.

This fight against the biased and unfair treatment of President Trump is not only about him; it’s about protecting the integrity of our elections. We must stand with Ramaswamy and Trump to ensure that no candidate is unfairly targeted simply because they pose a threat to the opposing party. It’s time for the truth to come out and for justice to be served!
