Hollywood hotshots are back at it again, throwing money at President Joe Biden like there’s no tomorrow. According to Axios, a glittering fundraiser is in the works for mid-June, where the likes of George Clooney and former President Barack Obama are set to grace the stage. Even former Disney bigwig Jeffrey Katzenberg, Biden’s campaign co-chair, will be making an appearance, sources reveal.

Now, if you’ve been keeping up with the news, you’ll know that Biden’s popularity has taken a nosedive with regular folks who are grappling with skyrocketing prices and a flood of illegal immigrants swarming their cities. Not to mention, concerns about Biden’s cognitive decline have got people on both sides of the political fence feeling uneasy.
The Hollywood crowd couldn’t care less. They are still firmly in Biden’s corner, opening their wallets wide for him. This isn’t the first time they’re rolling out the red carpet for Biden. Just a few months back, he popped by Los Angeles for another ritzy fundraiser hosted by Democrat mega-donors, Haim Saban and Casey Wasserman. And let’s not forget the L.A. fundraiser in December that was rudely interrupted by leftist protesters airing their grievances against Biden and his stance on the Israel-Hamas conflict.
Jeffrey Katzenberg, Biden’s right-hand man for fundraising, has vowed to rustle up “all the resources” needed to secure Biden a second term. Their recent Broadway-themed fundraiser in New York with Obama and Bill Clinton brought in a whopping $26 million. That’s a whole lot of greenbacks!
While Hollywood sees dollar signs when it comes to Biden, everyday Americans are singing a different tune. A recent survey found that the majority disapprove of Biden’s performance as president, with concerns about his age topping the list. Even Democrats are voicing their doubts.
With everything going on in the world today, who knows what’s in store for Biden’s re-election bid? Only time will tell, but one thing’s for sure: Hollywood’s checkbook is wide open for him.
