Hunter Biden, the president’s son, finds himself in hot water yet again. However, this time, his troubles do not stem from his shady business dealings with Ukraine and China or his possible tax controversies. It concerns his child support payments for his daughter, Navy. Hunter has been involved in a legal dispute with Navy’s mom, Lunden Alexis Roberts, who claims that he has failed to comply with a court order to provide financial information, as required in May.
The judge from Arkansas, Holly Lodge Meyer, has summoned Hunter Biden to appear in court on July 10 and explain why he should not be held in contempt. According to the court order, if he fails to appear as summoned, he risks being held in contempt, which could include imprisonment for up to six months, fines, and the dismissal of his requests within the case. Lunden Alexis Roberts has requested the court to authorize her daughter to carry the Biden name, stating that it would benefit her daughter’s future.
Many records suggest that Hunter Biden may be concealing the true state of his finances, which are under scrutiny by the judge to determine his ability to make payments. It is vital to note that Hunter Biden was also the subject of a federal investigation into his taxes after the 2020 election, where he was accused of offenses related to foreign lobbying or money laundering.
