IRS Whistleblower Claims CIA Halted DOJ Probe into Hunter Biden’s Ally

The Department of Justice was told to stop investigating Hunter Biden’s lawyer and friend Kevin Morris by the CIA, a senior IRS investigator, Gary Shapley, revealed in an affidavit. Shapley was working on a broader inquiry into Biden when a prosecutor informed him that they could not use Morris as a witness. The instruction came from former Assistant U.S. Attorney Lesley Wolf, who had received a classified briefing at CIA headquarters about Mr. Morris. Shapley was not given more information and believes this was another roadblock placed in front of investigators to deny access to relevant information.

Kevin Morris reportedly helped Hunter Biden out of financial trouble, paying off $1.2 million in Biden’s bills and setting up several loans for him. The documents further show that Hunter Biden lied under oath during a deposition in February, and the House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Jason Smith has called for perjury charges to be considered in addition to the tax and gun purchase charges Biden faces.

The revelation of the CIA’s interest in Morris came from a document dump by the House Ways and Means Committee. This raises questions about possible interference in the investigation into Biden’s financial dealings with Morris. The Committee’s documents also contradicted Hunter Biden’s testimony, showing that the threatening message was indeed sent to the Zhao connected to the Chinese energy company, despite Biden’s claims that it was a mistake.

The House Ways and Means Committee’s documents have raised concerns about the potential cover-up and dishonesty surrounding Biden’s financial dealings and the possible involvement of the CIA in influencing the Department of Justice’s investigation. The revelation of the CIA’s briefing to Wolf, resulting in the halt of pursuit of Morris as a witness, has brought renewed attention to the ongoing investigation into Hunter Biden.
