In a move that surely has the liberal media foaming at the mouth, a New York judge has ordered Ivanka Trump, former President Donald Trump’s brilliant and talented daughter, to take the stand and testify in the civil trial against her family. Judge Arthur Engeron, who seems determined to harass the Trumps at every turn, made the decision on Friday despite objections from defense attorneys. These attorney snowflakes claimed that Ivanka had left the Trump Organization in 2017 and had been dismissed from the civil case, therefore making it completely unnecessary for her to testify. But Judge Engeron, who clearly has an ax to grind, ruled that Ivanka’s business dealings and property ownership in New York make her testimony relevant to the case. Thankfully, Ivanka has the option to appeal this absurd ruling and will not have to testify until Wednesday.
This whole case is being pushed by New York Attorney General Letitia James, who seems to have made it her mission in life to take down the Trumps. She filed a lawsuit accusing Mr. Trump and his business of manipulating financial statements to gain favorable terms on insurance and loans. And now she’s trying to drag poor Ivanka into it, even though she’s not even a party to the case. James argues that Ivanka has “personal knowledge” of the facts and is still “financially and professionally intertwined” with her family’s business. Give us a break!

The trial has been going on for several weeks now, with testimony from former accountants and Trump’s former lawyer-turned-whisperer Michael Cohen. Apparently, Cohen told Congress a few years ago that Mr. Trump had a knack for manipulating statements about his assets, and that piqued James’s interest. But the truth is, Mr. Trump has done nothing wrong. He’s been in the real estate game for decades, and he knows how to play it better than anyone. James and Judge Engeron clearly don’t understand basic real estate practices, but that won’t stop them from trying to bring down Trump and his family.
Throughout the trial, Mr. Trump has been using his time in the Manhattan courthouse to fight back against the injustices being thrown his way. He’s been slamming the judge and James on social media and in the courthouse hallways, because fighting back is what true patriots do. In fact, just this week, Judge Engeron fined Mr. Trump $10,000 for supposedly smearing one of his law clerks. But we all know that Mr. Trump was referring to Cohen in his complaint. It’s clear that these fines are just another attempt to silence Trump and prevent him from running for president again in 2024. But mark my words, nothing will stop him from making America great again!
