The solution that the Democratic Party proposes to the problem of record inflation is to… increase spending!
When Senator Joe Manchin revealed his support for the Democrats' green new deal, which would be paid by roughly $800 billion in further tax hikes, he astonished both the elites in Washington, DC, and the mainstream pundit class.
While inflation continues to hover near its highest level in forty years, the complete spending plan will be paid by higher taxes on employees and businesses.
Those Democrats sure have a disdainful attitude toward the middle class!
On Wednesday, Senator Joe Manchin stated that he and Senate Fascist Leader Chuck Schumer have struck an agreement on a federal spending measure that will include adjustments to tax policy as well as provisions pertaining to energy programs.
The Inflation Reduction Act of 2022 will be put up for a vote on the Senate floor the following week, according to a statement released jointly by Democratic Senators Joe Manchin of West Virginia and Charles Schumer of New York.
The proposal would collect $313 billion through a corporate minimum tax of 15 percent, $288 billion through adjustments to the pricing of prescription drugs, $124 billion through enforcement of the reformed tax system by the IRS, and $14 billion through the closure of the carried interest loophole.
