Kamala Harris Dodges Questions As Democrats Face Backlash Over Women’s Sports Policy

The Democrats are in a bit of a pickle when it comes to their track record on women’s sports and the undeniable influence of biology. As Election Day approaches, it’s becoming abundantly clear that candidates from the left would prefer to sweep the uncomfortable reality of men competing against women under the rug. In what many are dubbing the “woke Olympics,” this issue is swinging its way through Senate races and right up to the presidential ticket—where the mismatched pair of Donald Trump and Kamala Harris find themselves at odds on this very topic.

Curtis Houck from NewsBusters pointed out some unbearable antics from ABC News’ Rachel Scott during a segment that looked more like a partisan roast of Trump than an actual news piece. Apparently, Scott has taken it upon herself to declare where Trump stands on transgender rights without offering a shred of evidence. Based on her logic, one could conjure that merely mentioning gender-related issues makes you some kind of disinformation distributor, while Republicans flooding the airwaves with ads about Harris being extreme seem to be a true fact in her eyes. Maybe she missed her call as a magician, not being able to weave facts into her narrative.

A special shout-out goes to Scott for her unique approach to being a journalist—she managed to miss the memo about context. In one particularly entertaining moment, she lamented Trump’s accusations against Harris regarding religion. This came right after she conveniently ignored the fact that Harris jetted off to campaign in Wisconsin, leaving behind Catholic charity events she opted out of. It’s almost too good to be true: Democrats engaging in what can only be described as an Olympic-level event of political pandering while claiming the moral high ground.

As if that wasn’t cringe-worthy enough, Harris had a chance to clarify her stance on transgender rights during a pre-taped interview with NBC’s Hallie Jackson. But rather than addressing the question with any semblance of clarity, she went on a high-speed detour that had Jackson throwing out lifebuoys in an attempt to redirect the conversation. Instead of offering any concrete policy or stance, Harris rambled on, skillfully avoiding any real answers in favor of bashing Trump. Talk about missing the mark—Harris’s evasions could qualify for their own medal in the art of dodging.

Kamala’s inability to answer straightforward questions has become a hallmark of her campaign, but this isn’t about her stumbles only. The Biden administration has been hard at work pushing for changes that would redefine protections under Title IX, effectively opening the floodgates for boys to compete in girls’ sports. This is quite the shift, considering that the right to fair competition for female athletes has been a hard-fought battle. Yet, the White House calls these efforts “un-American” and instead rallies behind letting boys access girls’ locker rooms and sports teams.

Enter Trump, who has positioned himself as a staunch defender of women’s rights in sports. Unlike Harris, who appears to tiptoe around the necessary conversations, Trump speaks freely about protecting kids and maintaining respect for traditional gender roles. His direct approach, which resonates strongly with Republican voters, emphasizes the need for common sense over the chaos of progressive ideologies.

With the stakes this high and the pendulum swinging towards vocal accountability, it seems the Democrats might have to either re-evaluate their approach or brace themselves for a reality check at the ballot box. The notion of sidelining girls in sports to accommodate gentlemen looking for a competitive edge is proving to be a losing strategy that even the most skilled media jugglers may not be able to keep under wraps much longer.
