In a stunning display of intellectual prowess, Vice President Kamala Harris attempted to explain artificial intelligence (AI) to a group of labor and civil rights leaders. And let’s just say, the jokes practically write themselves.

First, Harris felt the need to inform everyone that AI is “kind of a fancy thing.” Really? Fancy? That’s the best she could come up with? I would think words like complex, mind-blowing, or even terrifying would be more appropriate. But no, in Harris’s world, AI is just a “fancy” little concept.

But wait, it gets better. Harris then attempted to explain how AI actually works. Brace yourself for this one. According to the Vice President, the machine is taught, and then it determines decisions and opinions based on the information that was inputted. Wow, groundbreaking stuff right there. I could have sworn my toaster had more advanced knowledge than that.
It’s no wonder people are questioning Harris’s ability to lead. If she can’t even articulate the basic principles of AI without sounding like a kindergarten teacher, how can we trust her with more pressing matters? Maybe she should hire AI to write her speeches, because let’s be honest, they sound like they were written by an eight-year-old.
In all seriousness, though, Harris’s lack of understanding of AI is concerning. This technology has the potential to revolutionize countless industries and change the way we live our lives. We need leaders who can grasp its implications and make informed decisions about its implementation. Sadly, Harris seems more interested in dumbing down complex concepts than actually understanding them.
As we look to the future and the possibility of Harris becoming president, it’s important to ask ourselves if we want someone at the helm who struggles to comprehend basic technological advancements. We need a strong and capable leader, not someone who treats important issues like they’re reading a bedtime story to children.
Let’s hope the American people see through the empty words and lack of understanding and choose a leader who can navigate the complexities of our rapidly advancing world. Because if Harris is the best the Democrats have to offer, we’re in for a world of trouble.
