Vice President Kamala Harris has once again shown her true colors by spewing out more radical views on the situation in the Middle East. In a speech at the COP28 climate summit in Dubai, she not only called for a revitalization of the Palestinian Authority (PA), but also cautioned Israel to do more to protect Palestinian civilians. What about protecting innocent Israeli citizens from the constant barrage of terror attacks? Oh, right, that doesn’t fit the liberal narrative.
Harris even had the audacity to suggest that Israel should allow the PA to govern in Gaza to achieve lasting peace. Seriously, has she been living under a rock? The PA has a long history of supporting and funding terror, including their despicable “pay-to-slay” policy where they provide stipends to terrorists in Israeli prisons. And yet, Harris wants them to have even more control? It’s mind-boggling.

Not only that, but she also met with Arab leaders to discuss rebuilding hospitals and housing in the region. While it’s important to provide humanitarian aid, it’s crucial to remember that the PA has consistently squandered funds on supporting terrorism rather than improving the lives of their own people. But of course, Harris is more concerned with pushing her idealistic agenda than facing the harsh realities on the ground.
It’s evident that Harris’s visit to the United Arab Emirates was simply a thinly veiled attempt to push her own misguided ideas rather than focusing on the real issues at hand. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has already made it clear that he opposes the notion of restoring control of Gaza to the PA, and for good reason. The last thing the region needs is to empower an entity that has a track record of promoting violence and terror.
Clearly, Harris’s priorities are completely off base. Instead of pandering to the PA and its supporters, she should be standing firmly with Israel, the only true democracy in the Middle East. The fact that she is leading a “national strategy on Islamophobia” while pushing for the revitalization of the PA speaks volumes about her skewed perspective. It’s high time for Harris to wake up and acknowledge the real threats in the region, rather than perpetuating her own partisan agenda.
