Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an independent presidential candidate, is generating considerable attention with his claim that his campaign has amassed an astounding 23,000 signatures in order to secure a ballot slot in North Carolina in November. Additionally, Kennedy is expected to have his We the People political party included on the ballots in New Hampshire, Nevada, Utah, and Hawaii. Stefanie Spear, the campaign's press secretary, affirms that all necessary teams are assembled to ensure that their candidate succeeds.

In order to attain official recognition in the Tar Heel State, Kennedy must collect approximately 13,865 signatures, which accounts for a mere 0.25% of the overall gubernatorial election ballots. He must then garner 10,000 votes in support of his We the People Party candidacy in order to secure a place on the ballot.
Former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden may be trembling at the prospect of Kennedy's possible appearance on the North Carolina ballot. Trump has had his eye on the swing state, but Biden's recent campaign stop there suggests he intends to change its color to blue.
Recent polls indicate that Kennedy is not to be disregarded; a national poll conducted by Harvard-Harris last month places Trump ahead of Biden with 39%, while Kennedy maintains a respectable 17%. Gary Johnson, the candidate for the Libertarian Party in 2016, received more than 130,000 ballots, or 2.74 percent of the total vote. A survey conducted by Marist last month indicates that Kennedy could potentially receive 11% of the vote in North Carolina, while Trump secures 46% and Biden trails with 43%. Kennedy appears to be galvanizing the forces and causing a stir in the race.
