It appears that the deep state is celebrating Carlson’s departure, as senior Defense Department officials anonymously told Politico that they were “better off” without him “bagging on our military every night in front of hundreds of thousands of people”. Ohio Senator J.D. Vance accused these officials of being cowards for “hiding behind anonymity”, and he is right.
