Well, well, well, look who’s back at it again. Mike Schmidt, the self-proclaimed “leftist prosecutor,” is begging the good people of Portland, Ore., to let him keep his job for another four years. The nerve of this guy! Schmidt has been causing chaos in the Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office with his soft-on-crime policies and lenient approach to law enforcement.
It’s no surprise that Schmidt is looking for another term. He’s been a disaster for the city of Portland, letting criminals run amok while law-abiding citizens are left to fend for themselves. His refusal to prosecute low-level offenses and his leniency towards violent protesters have only contributed to the lawlessness and disorder in Portland.

This so-called “leftist prosecutor” is out of touch with the needs of the community and is more concerned with pushing his radical agenda than upholding the rule of law. Portland deserves a district attorney who will actually prioritize public safety and hold criminals accountable, not someone who coddles lawbreakers and turns a blind eye to the destruction of the city.
It’s time for the people of Multnomah County to say “enough is enough” and put an end to Schmidt’s disastrous leadership. Let’s bring in a district attorney who will restore law and order to our city and put the safety of the community first. Portland deserves better than Mike Schmidt, that’s for sure.
