In the liberal la-la land of Massachusetts, an Amherst school district is going bananas over claims that two school counselors were not playing nice with transgender students. The New Yorker, a magazine known for sipping that liberal Kool-Aid, reported that the counselors, Hector Santos and Delinda Dykes, were accused of stirring up trouble, with whispers of racist behavior thrown into the mix.

Now, let’s break it down from a conservative perspective. First off, these counselors were hired in the first place as part of a diversity push under former Superintendent Michael Morris. It seems like they were more interested in checking boxes for political correctness rather than actually ensuring all students felt safe and respected. And when issues arose, instead of addressing them head-on, it looks like there was more concern about being labeled “racist” than about doing what’s right.
The whole situation sounds like a liberal drama series playing out in a school setting. You’ve got discrimination complaints, accusations of abetting abuse, and claims of bullying being mishandled under the guise of so-called “restorative justice.” It’s like the liberals are more interested in pushing their agenda than actually protecting all students.
And let’s not even get started on the craziness surrounding COVID-19. With tensions already running high over in-person education, masking, and vaccination policies, it’s no wonder things in Amherst are spiraling out of control. The head of the local teachers union even went as far as accusing the school committee of “genocide against teachers” because staff had to wear masks if they weren’t vaccinated. Talk about hysterics!
In the end, it’s clear that the left’s priorities in this school district are all mixed up. Instead of focusing on providing a quality education and safe environment for all students, it seems like they’re more concerned with political posturing and playing the victim. It’s time to put aside the liberal theatrics and get back to what really matters – the well-being and education of the students.
