Mark Cuban’s Misguided Attempt to Discredit Trump’s Strong Women

Mark Cuban has recently embarked on yet another misguided quest to take down former President Donald Trump, this time taking aim at the women surrounding him. Appearing on daytime television’s favorite liberal echo chamber, Cuban decided it would be a good idea to claim that Trump doesn’t engage with “strong” or “intelligent” women. It’s an argument that reeks less of a legitimate critique and more of a desperate attempt by a celebrity to stay relevant in a world that increasingly turns its back on the political elite.

During his time on “The View,” Cuban was asked why Trump wasn’t seeking assistance from Nikki Haley. His answer was a real brain-buster: implying that Trump is somehow afraid of strong women challenging him. The irony is, of course, that this statement comes from a billionaire who might as well have a PhD in “liberal bubble” thinking. Apparently, being a successful businessman and former reality TV star shields Cuban from noticing the myriad of accomplished women who work with Trump.

First on the list of intelligent women who have long stood by Trump is Tulsi Gabbard. The former Democrat made headlines when she announced her shift to the Republican Party while maintaining a strong presence on the campaign trail. With a military background and experience as a congresswoman, Gabbard checks all the boxes Cuban seems to have overlooked. Having completed several tours in Iraq and Kuwait, she probably wouldn’t be intimidated by Cuban’s entitled quips, and might even teach him a thing or two about resilience.

Then there’s Sarah Huckabee Sanders, the political powerhouse who not only survived the press briefings but thrived in them, often outmaneuvering the media with ease. Serving as the third female White House press secretary and now the governor of Arkansas, her record speaks for itself. Raising three kids while battling cancer? That’s stronger than anything Mark Cuban has thrown at any boardroom table.

Let’s not forget the impressive roster of Republican women in Congress, like Elise Stefanik, Monica De La Cruz, and Anna Paulina Luna. These women have stood shoulder to shoulder with Trump, advocating for conservative values and proving Cuban’s narrative to be more fiction than fact. And let’s give a nod to the brave mothers who have poured their hearts out at Republican rallies, sharing gut-wrenching stories of loss due to drugs and violence—surely, their strength would knock Mark Cuban’s superficial argument flat.

Even Trump’s family is a showcase of strong women. Ivanka, a business mogul and former senior advisor, Lara, who transitioned from media to the RNC chair, and his granddaughter, who wowed audiences with her speech at the Republican National Convention, all proudly embody intelligence and strength. Cuban’s assertion falls flat when faced with this evidence, leading one to wonder if the billionaire has his head stuck so far in elitist circles he has forgotten how to recognize talent and strength outside of his social strata.

In the end, Cuban’s comments reveal more about his own disconnect from the real world than they do about Trump. The former president’s inner circle is filled with formidable women who would undoubtedly leave Cuban scrambling for cover if he ever engaged with them. It might be time for Cuban to take a good hard look at the influencers surrounding Trump before launching another unfounded tirade. Apologies to the real strong women who have supported Trump for Cuban’s oversight may be in order.
