Robert F. Kennedy Jr. isn’t exactly a conservative hero, but after this circus on Capitol Hill, even his biggest critics have to admit—he’s getting buried under a pile of progressive nonsense. The Democrats wheeled him out for a verbal beatdown, hoping to embarrass him in front of the cameras. Instead, the only people who looked foolish were the lawmakers pushing empty talking points and bizarre accusations.
Kennedy showed up ready for a fight on budget cuts and vaccine policy. Liberals spent hours trying to paint him as reckless for sticking to his guns on issues like nutrition and waste in government programs. But for all their bluster, it’s clear the left can’t argue on facts. That’s why Rep. Terri Sewell, fresh off her liberal soapbox, decided to go off the rails and grill Kennedy with questions that left everyone scratching their heads.
At one point, Sewell brought up whether Kennedy has a medical degree—never mind that the vast majority of past health secretaries never did either. Then she pushed the conversation into total nonsense territory, asking Kennedy if he ever “re-parented a black child.” It’s the kind of question you’d expect on a woke university campus, not from a member of Congress supposedly working for the American people. Kennedy was baffled—and let’s be honest, so was everyone watching. If Democrats had a plan to win this argument, it got lost as soon as Sewell opened her mouth.

Moments like this prove that the left is more interested in race-baiting and identity politics than actually debating the issues. When liberals can’t win policy arguments, they accuse their opponents of racism or throw around meaningless phrases to shut down discussion. Sewell’s outburst showed just how desperate and unhinged the Democrat playbook has become.
This is the party that claims to have the moral high ground? They can’t even ask real questions without tripping over their own woke nonsense. Instead of focusing on spending, fraud, or public health, they fixate on phantom accusations and social justice buzzwords. Who exactly do these Democrats think they’re helping? Certainly not every day, Americans are watching health care costs and government waste spiral out of control.
If this is the best the left can do, they might want to spend less time inventing new words and more time learning how to govern. Or is confusing the American public the entire point?
