Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has been caught in a web of lies and deceit when it comes to the crisis at the southern border. He’s been squawking about how the increased crossings into the United States have nothing to do with politics, but that’s about as believable as a unicorn galloping through the White House lawn. Mayorkas had the audacity to reject the idea that the Biden administration is using migrants to shift the country’s political dynamics, but any good ol’ American can see right through that smoke and mirrors show.
Mayorkas insists migrant crossings aren’t meant to change ‘political dynamics’ of UShttps://t.co/pxRq4pIwTG

Former President Donald Trump hit the nail on the head when he suggested that President Joe Biden is trying to load up the voter base by allowing migrants to flood across the border. Mayorkas can flap his gums all he wants, but the facts speak for themselves. The number of individuals being removed or returned has skyrocketed, and we’re not even done with the year yet. It’s as clear as day that the Biden administration is failing miserably when it comes to securing our border.
And let’s talk about Gov. Greg Abbott of Texas. Mayorkas had the guts to call him out for refusing to coordinate with the government, but the truth is that Abbott is the only one showing true leadership in handling the border crisis. He’s been on the front lines, taking action while the Biden administration continues to bury its head in the sand. Abbott’s got the guts to stand up for his state, and he’s not afraid to call out the incompetence of the current administration.
The fact that Mayorkas had the gall to spew his nonsense about Abbott “wreaking havoc” while busing immigrants to major cities speaks volumes about the lack of responsibility and leadership from the Biden administration. It’s easy to see who the real problem is here, and it’s not Gov. Abbott.
To make matters worse, the border crisis is shaping up to be a major factor in the 2024 presidential election. Trump and Abbott are out there in the trenches, facing the problem head-on, while Biden just twiddles his thumbs. Trump’s visit to the border city of Eagle Pass, Texas, alongside Abbott is a solid example of true leadership. Meanwhile, Biden’s second trip to the border was nothing but a pitiful attempt to save face.
As if Mayorkas and the Biden administration’s mismanagement of the border crisis weren’t enough, the House of Representatives impeached him last month over his handling of the border. It’s about time someone held these people to account for their disastrous policies and decision-making. Congress has a responsibility to impeach Mayorkas, and the Senate needs to follow through with it. Mayorkas had the audacity to lie straight to the faces of Senators, and he needs to face the consequences.
The American people deserve leadership that actually cares about protecting our borders and our citizens, not politicians who play politics with people’s lives. It’s time for a change, and it starts with holding the Mayorkases and Bidens of the world accountable for their failures.
