Another day, another outrageous left-wing circus in Washington. After the attempted assassination of President Trump at the White House Correspondents Association dinner, you’d think everyone could finally agree that violence and hate need to stop. But no, the left would rather play games and make excuses. While chaos unfolded at the Washington Hilton, so-called “progressives” scrambled to twist the facts, pretending nothing serious even happened. If a deranged shooter had gone after any liberal darling, the outrage from Democrat politicians and their corporate media lapdogs would shake the country for weeks. Instead, with Trump the target, they tiptoe around the truth.
Let’s be real. The left still refuses to accept that Trump is the duly elected president. Time and time again, he’s faced threats both political and personal. But when someone tries to take his life, the left can only offer distraction and silence. Where’s the wall-to-wall coverage? Where are the candlelight vigils and the somber lectures about “threats to democracy?” Nowhere. Because when it happens to Trump, the rules change in Washington.

And then there’s Obama, who never misses an opportunity to grandstand. Instead of condemning this blatant act of violence, he finds a way to deflect and politicize. The elites at these glitzy dinners love to attack Trump, joke about “resistance,” and act above the law. But when one of their own fans takes it too far, the spin begins. They blame the culture, blame society—anything but their own reckless rhetoric. Does anyone really believe that’s a coincidence?
It’s a pattern America knows too well by now. The left will gladly lecture conservatives about “civility,” yet their own side gets a free pass when things turn violent. Globalist interests, open borders, never-ending investigations, and constant personal attacks—all fuel an atmosphere where radicals feel entitled to do the unthinkable. Meanwhile, the mainstream media acts like Trump brought this on himself. It’s disgusting.
If a Trump supporter had ever tried something like this against a Democrat, the media and the left would demand the nation shut down. They’d blame every conservative voice from coast to coast. But when the target is Trump, nothing to see here. Isn’t it time the American people call out this double standard for what it is—dangerous, un-American, and morally bankrupt? How much longer will the left pretend their hypocrisy isn’t fueling this madness?
