The buzz is getting louder about who former President Donald Trump will tap as his sidekick, and there’s word that his wife Melania is vouching for a big shot from conservative media who’s always had his back.
Axios spilled the tea that Melania is gung-ho about getting Tucker Carlson on board as Trump’s right-hand man. She’s pitching him as a power boost to Trump’s showmanship. Plus, we might even see more of Melania on the campaign trail, and who wouldn’t want that?

The idea of bringing Carlson on board has Trump’s inner circle turning their heads. There’s worry that Carlson, being the big shot he is, might steal the spotlight from the Donald himself. And there’s the concern that Carlson might veer off-piste, which already got him into hot water with Fox News.
But wait, hold your horses! There’s a whole lineup of loyal pals gunning for the top spot alongside Trump. The list includes Senator J.D. Vance, Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders, Senate candidate Kari Lake, and Governor Kristi Noem. And those aren’t the only prospects – there’s also Congressman Byron Donalds and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, who’ve stuck by Trump through thick and thin.
The decision might not come quick, though. Trump’s got a boatload of other important roles to fill, from Attorney General to Chief of Staff and even Secretary of State. It’s like picking teams for a game of dodgeball, but way, way more intense.
