Governor Kristi Noem of South Dakota has spoken some common sense that seems to evade the other Republican candidates in the primary race. In an interview with Fox News, Governor Noem pointed out what everyone already knows: none of these candidates can win as long as Trump is in the race. It’s like trying to compete in a sprint against Usain Bolt. You’re not going to win, so why even bother?
Now, Governor Noem hasn’t officially endorsed anyone yet, but mark my words, she’s going to make a smart choice. And if she does throw her support behind Trump, it would be a match made in conservative heaven. I can already picture it: Noem and Trump standing side by side, proudly waving their “Make America Great Again” hats. It’s a dream team that would surely send liberals into a frenzy.
But let’s talk numbers here. According to RealClearPolitics, Trump is enjoying a massive 38-point average lead in the polls. That’s yuge, folks! It’s clear that the American people still have Trump fever, and it’s not going away anytime soon. Even if someone like Ron DeSantis were to miraculously secure the nomination, there’s a large portion of voters who are strictly “Trump or Bust.” They won’t settle for anything less. They want their MAGA agenda and they want it now.
And here’s the thing, Governor Noem knows what she’s talking about. She’s not just pulling these observations out of thin air. Pollsters like Richard Baris have been studying this demographic, and they’ve come to the same conclusion. It’s simple math, really. Trump has the numbers, the endorsements, and the enthusiasm on his side. The others don’t stand a chance.

Baris even breaks it down for us. Endorsements from state officials? Meaningless. It’s the nationally held and gubernatorial offices that truly matter. And guess who’s dominating in that department? That’s right, it’s Trump by a landslide. He’s got the support of the people who know a thing or two about running a government.
So, while the other candidates continue to waste their time and resources on a race they can’t possibly win, let’s hope they come to their senses soon. It’s time for them to drop out gracefully and throw their support behind the true conservative champion, Donald J. Trump. Let’s make America great again, one election at a time.
