In a spectacular display of judicial overreach, an Obama-appointed federal judge has thrown a wrench into President Trump’s plans to rid the United States of Venezuelan gang members. This is yet another glaring instance of liberal judges trying to distract from Trump’s America First agenda, choosing instead to cater to foreign criminals at the expense of American safety.
Chief U.S. District Judge James Boasberg, clearly more interested in protecting the rights of thugs than those of law-abiding citizens, slapped a temporary restraining order on Trump’s use of the Alien Enemies Act. This law, which has been a crucial tool for protecting national security for centuries, has suddenly become the favorite target of leftist judges keen on rewriting the rules to suit their liberal whims.
In response to this flagrant legal hiccup, Rep. Brandon Gill from Texas has decided to take matters into his own hands and plans to file articles of impeachment against Judge Boasberg. As if that weren’t enough, Attorney General Pam Bondi sprang into action with an emergency motion to halt Boasberg’s absurd ruling. It’s a classic case of liberal judicial activism running amok, and conservatives are not about to let it slide without a fight.
This isn’t just a legal squabble; it’s a direct assault on the authority of the president. When a district judge believes he has the power to override the constitutional right of the president to safeguard America’s borders, it’s time to sound the alarm bells. This is a troubling sign that many in the judiciary may be more interested in leftist ideology than in protecting the American populace.

Judge Boasberg has quite a colorful history himself. He’s the same judge who let a key figure in the Russia investigation skate by with little more than a slap on the wrist. When FBI lawyer Kevin Clinesmith deliberately altered an email for the purpose of spying on an American citizen, Boasberg deemed probation a sufficient punishment. Yet when it comes to protecting everyday Americans from foreign terrorist threats, he chooses to roll out the red carpet for criminals instead.
Boasberg had the audacity to order deportation flights with Venezuelan gang members already en route to turn around and return to the United States. This raises the question: when did a district judge become a gatekeeper of national security? The last time anyone checked, it was President Trump in charge of defending the nation—not Judge Boasberg playing Supreme Leader from the bench.
This isn’t just a courtroom drama; it underscores a much larger problem, where activist judges are undermining the safety and security of Americans at every turn. It’s time for a wake-up call about just how far the left is willing to go in blocking policies that prioritize American lives. As conservatives gear up to challenge this gross judicial overreach, the stakes have never been higher in the battle for America’s safety and freedom.
