The tragic death of Officer David Lee on September 22 is yet another painful reminder of the consequences of lax immigration policies and a legal system that often fails to hold offenders accountable. At 44 years old, Officer Lee dedicated nearly two decades to serving and protecting the citizens of St. Louis. He was a family man with two children and a loving wife. On that fateful day, while helping a stranded motorist on I-70, tragedy struck when he was struck from behind by an illegal alien who had been drinking. This utterly preventable incident raises troubling questions about immigration enforcement and public safety.
Under the Biden administration, a shocking increase in crime statistics has been noticed, particularly those involving illegal aliens. From 2021 to 2024, U.S. Customs and Border Patrol recorded an astonishing 454 cases under their manslaughter and homicide categories linked to non-citizens. This number starkly contrasts with the mere eleven documented such cases between 2017 and 2020, highlighting a clear trend that many believe is tied to the current administration’s weak stance on border security and law enforcement. As the political landscape shifts, it is all too evident that the consequences of these policies weigh heavily on American communities.
