Democrats and the media continue to ignore claims of voter fraud made by Republicans, specifically involving illegal immigrants and non-citizens. Ohio’s review of voter rolls revealed 137 non-citizens illegally registered to vote, but Secretary of State Frank LaRose believes there are more. He has asked the Biden administration for access to federal databases to identify and remove non-citizens from the rolls.
Illegally registered non-citizens in Ohio will be notified and asked to confirm their citizenship or cancel their registration. Secretary LaRose emphasized that not all cases may result in punishment, as some could be innocent mistakes. However, he stressed the importance of rectifying errors to prevent accidental illegal voting that could lead to serious consequences.
LaRose suspects there are more than 137 illegally registered non-citizens in Ohio and requests federal assistance to access databases with citizenship information. Whether the Biden administration will support Ohio’s efforts remains uncertain. Republicans in the House have introduced the SAVE Act to strengthen proof of citizenship requirements for voter registration, aiming to prevent illegal voting.
