Parents have been embroiled in bitter battles over transgender bathroom policies, educational priorities, and, shockingly, student fentanyl overdoses. The arrest of a father, Scott Smith, during a school board meeting after he recounted his daughter’s sexual assault by a transgender student only added fuel to the fire.
