Prosecutors shared evidence on Monday night to show that Hunter Biden might have lied about using drugs when buying a gun in 2018. They plan to present 75 pages of text messages that talk about his struggles with addiction in court.
The trial is set for June 3 in Wilmington, Delaware. The prosecutors want to show the judge the evidence they have and the people they will call as witnesses. They plan to have multiple women who were in a relationship with Hunter Biden testify. The text messages included in the evidence show conversations about him trying to get better, talking about drug use, and pictures of drugs or him smoking crack.
Where do you think this will go, do you think Hunter will even see the inside of a jail cell?

‘Sleeping On A Car Smoking Crack’: Prosecutors Cite Texts Showing Hunter Biden Allegedly Lied On Gun Form https://t.co/xKvxOuN44o— Punkin (@PatriotPunkin1) May 21, 2024
One message from October 14, 2018, mentioned him smoking crack on a car on 4th street and Rodney. Another message from the day before talked about waiting for a drug dealer behind the Blue Rocks stadium.
Some of the witnesses mentioned in the evidence are believed to be Hallie Biden, the widow of his late brother Beau Biden, and Kathleen Buhle, his ex-wife. In addition, Former Delaware State Police Lieutenant Millard Greer will testify about recovering Hunter Biden’s gun and an employee from the store where he bought the gun will also be a witness.
The prosecutors argue that Hunter Biden knew he was a crack user when he bought and had the gun. They say his actions and words prove this. Hunter Biden was charged in September with three gun-related felonies. His lawyers are trying to get the case dismissed, claiming issues with the indictment, his plea deal, and the way the special counsel was chosen. They also believe he is being unfairly targeted.
Editorial Opinion: It is concerning that someone with such a troubled history is involved in a case involving gun possession. This situation highlights the importance of being truthful on legal forms and the potential consequences of not following the law. It is essential for everyone, regardless of who they are, to be held accountable for their actions.
