Once again, the great divide between Republican-led states and Democrat-led states is clearer than ever when it comes to parents’ rights in their children’s education. In the good ol’ red states like Florida and Virginia, Republican leaders are out here fighting the good fight to keep parents informed about what’s happening in their kids’ classrooms. Yeah, you read that right! They’re even making sure parents know if their kid suddenly wants to go by a different name and use some funky pronouns.

But hold on to your hats, folks, because across the blue state lines in New York and California, those pesky Democrats are up to their usual shenanigans, planning to keep moms and dads in the dark. It’s like they want parents to be on a need-to-know basis, and apparently, they don’t need to know much! Townhall has exposed the dirty deeds of school districts in Colorado, Virginia, Kansas, and parts of California, all trying to keep parents out of the loop on what their kids are learning (or not learning). Man, talk about a bunch of sneaky snakes!
And if that’s not bad enough, in good ol’ Cincinnati, Ohio, a school district got caught red-handed telling teachers to report parents to protective services if they’re not jumping for joy over their kid’s “transgender” identity. Can you believe it?! That’s right, folks, they’re calling child services on parents who just want to be involved in their kids’ lives. It’s a real head-scratcher, let me tell ya!
Just when you think things couldn’t get any crazier, along comes the cheeseheads in Wisconsin, making some moves to protect parents’ rights in education. The state lawmakers actually gave the green light to a bill that would make sure parents have a say in their children’s schooling. But, lo and behold, the Democrat Gov. Tony Evers is gearing up to veto the whole darn thing. Isn’t that just peachy?
This bill is no joke, my friends. It’s got all the bells and whistles – giving parents the power to choose what pronouns their kiddos are called at school, allowing them to pull their kids out of class for religious or personal reasons, and giving them the heads-up about any touchy topics that might come up in the classroom. But here come the Democrats, waving their extremist and hateful flags, pushing back against the bill faster than you can say “politics.”
These Democrat lawmakers have the nerve to call the bill “garbage” and “anti-civil rights.” According to them, it’s an attack on their precious transgender and non-binary students. Give me a break! They’re pulling out all the stops to paint this bill as the enemy of progress, claiming it’s a “distraction” from the real work. But we all know what’s really going on here, don’t we?
Hey, here’s a shocker – polls have shown that even in those predominantly Democrat states, Americans still believe parents should be in the know about what’s happening in their kids’ schools. Fancy that! Looks like common sense isn’t just a red thing after all. Keep fighting the good fight, parents!
