REPORT: CIA Involved in Hunter Biden Laptop Scandal

The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) has been caught red-handed in a scandal involving the infamous letter claiming the explosive Hunter Biden laptop story as “Russian disinformation.” According to a report from the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, the CIA was involved in helping solicit cosigners for the letter. The letter was signed by 51 former intelligence officials, which threw shade on the truth of the laptop contents and claimed it had “all the classic earmarks of Russian disinformation.”

The report revealed that one signer of the statement, former CIA analyst David Cariens, disclosed to Congressional investigators that a CIA employee affiliated with the agency’s Prepublication Classification Review Board (‘PCRB’) informed him of the existence of the statement and asked if he would sign it. In a written statement, Cariens said the CIA, or at least one CIA employee, “may have helped in the effort to solicit signatures for the statement.”

Cariens also informed investigators that he had been “following the Hunter Biden laptop issue” and provided his past expertise, “I felt there was enough circumstantial evidence to raise the suspicion that Russian intelligence was involved.” He also added that his wife, a former CIA employee, signed the letter claiming the Hunter Biden Laptop story was “Russian disinformation.”

The report also notes that on March 21, 2023, the committee requested documents from the CIA relating to interactions between the CIA and the cosigners of the statement. “The CIA has so far failed to comply with this oversight request,” the report states.

It is clear that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) was involved in a massive cover-up to discredit and downplay the truth of the Hunter Biden laptop story. The agency was caught red-handed in a scandal involving helping to solicit cosigners for a letter claiming that the explosive laptop story was “Russian disinformation.” The letter was signed by 51 former intelligence officials, which threw shade on the truth of the laptop contents and claimed it had “all the classic earmarks of Russian disinformation.”

The report revealed that one signer of the statement, former CIA analyst David Cariens, disclosed to Congressional investigators that a CIA employee affiliated with the agency’s Prepublication Classification Review Board (‘PCRB’) informed him of the existence of the statement and asked if he would sign it. It is clear that this was an attempt by the agency to manipulate and control public opinion about this story.

The report also notes that on March 21, 2023, the committee requested documents from the CIA relating to interactions between the CIA and the cosigners of the statement. “The CIA has so far failed to comply with this oversight request,” the report states. This lack of transparency and accountability is highly concerning and speaks volumes about how far this agency will go to protect its own interests and discredit any evidence that goes against their narrative.

It is clear that this scandal is yet another example of how our intelligence agencies are willing to use their power and influence to manipulate public opinion and cover up information that could potentially be damaging to their own interests. This is an affront to our democracy and a violation of our trust in our government institutions. It is time for Congress to take action and hold these agencies accountable for their actions.
