In a shocking and outrageous ruling, the left-wing activist Colorado Supreme Court has disqualified former President Donald Trump from the state’s 2024 ballot. This decision has left independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. stunned and appalled, as he took to social media to criticize the court’s partisan actions.

The court claimed that Trump’s actions on January 6, 2021, during the Capitol riot, amounted to an “insurrection” against the federal government. They argued that under the 14th Amendment, Trump should be disqualified from seeking re-election. However, Kennedy and others see this ruling as a blatant attempt to subvert democracy.
Kennedy likened the court’s decision to the actions of a banana republic and emphasized the importance of a fair election. He stated that he wants to beat Trump in a legitimate election, not because he was barred from the ballot. Kennedy believes that the voters should have the final say, not the courts.
The Colorado Republican Party is also outraged by this partisan ruling and has threatened to withdraw from the state primaries if the decision stands. Kennedy, however, didn’t stop at social media posts. He further elaborated on his concerns and criticized the court for denying Trump his right to run without a proper evidentiary hearing or the opportunity to confront his accusers.
Kennedy believes that this decision not only undermines American democracy but also contributes to the perception that the elites are manipulating the legal system to influence the presidency. He warned that if Trump is kept out of office through judicial fiat rather than being defeated in a fair election, his supporters will never accept the result, making the country ungovernable.
GOP candidate Vivek Ramaswamy also condemned the court’s decision, labeling it as an actual attack on democracy. He pledged to withdraw from the Colorado GOP primary unless Trump is also allowed to be on the state’s ballot. Ramaswamy demanded that other Republican candidates, such as Ron DeSantis, Chris Christie, and Nikki Haley, do the same immediately to avoid endorsing this illegal maneuver.
It is worth noting that the four justices who voted to bar Trump from the state ballot are all political appointees with clear left-leaning affiliations. They have been accused of gender, racial, and age discrimination in the past, raising concerns about their impartiality. This ruling undoubtedly raises questions about the integrity of the Colorado Supreme Court and their commitment to upholding democratic principles.
The attempt to remove Trump from the ballot in Colorado is not only politically motivated but also manipulative. It undermines the core principles of democracy and limits the voice of the American people. Fair elections are the foundation of democracy, and it is essential to let the voters decide who the best candidate is rather than leaving that decision in the hands of biased courts. Hopefully, this decision will be swiftly reversed to restore faith in the democratic process.
