In a bizarre turn of events, the blood-stained leather patches from John F. Kennedy’s (JFK’s) limousine just sold for a whopping $46,865 at an auction. Yes, you read that right, folks. These patches were actually cut straight from the car where President Kennedy was shot and were covered in his bodily fluids. Talk about a morbid souvenir.

But that’s not all. This auction also included some other chilling items. Lee Harvey Oswald’s personally-owned revolver went for a cool $31k, and to top it off, a bullet fired by Jack Ruby at Oswald sold for $18k. It’s like a twisted game of ‘who’s got the creepiest JFK memorabilia.’
Not to be outdone, a section of the picket fence that lined the infamous grassy knoll during the assassination fetched $13,740. Because nothing says “nostalgia” quite like a piece of history where a beloved president was brutally murdered.
And let’s not forget about Oswald’s failed attempt to make a phone call from the Dallas jail. His jail phone call receipt, where he desperately tried to reach an attorney in New York, will now be forever remembered as a dark memento of his doomed fate.
Now, some may question the ethics and taste of buying and selling these macabre relics. But hey, to each their own, right? As long as people are willing to shell out the big bucks for a piece of history that’s stained with blood and bodily fluids, who are we to judge?
