Special Counsel Jack Smith was caught in Washington, D.C., using a grand jury without anyone knowing. This secret is now hurting him because Walt Nauta's lawyer, Stanley Woodward, is using it to try to get witness evidence thrown out or get the special counsel in trouble.

Now, let's talk about what's going on with this grand jury. The rules are pretty clear: grand juries can only look into and bring charges for crimes that are thought to have happened in the same area. But it seems that Special Counsel Smith thought he could do anything he wanted, so he put together a different grand jury in Washington, D.C. Well, Nauta's lawyer doesn't agree with that at all. Woodward says that the court should step in and keep the witness from testifying if there is a conflict of interest between Trump Employee 4 and Nauta.
Woodward goes on to say that the government has been doing some shady things, so the court needs to use its power to keep an eye on things. He says that the special counsel is trying to weaken the power of the court and hurt the relationship between lawyers and their clients. As a way to fix the wrong use of out-of-district proceedings, Woodward wants the court to throw out the evidence of Trump Employee 4. And what do you know? I agree with him. The government shouldn't be able to do whatever it wants without having to deal with the results.
But that's not all! Trump Employee 4, whose name is now known to be Yuscil Taveras, has changed his story and told a different one. He first said he didn't know about any attempts to get rid of video footage, but now he's telling the D.C. grand jury everything. What do you know? Woodward is no longer a lawyer for Taveras. I don't know why. Did Woodward realise Taveras was lying and abandon ship when he found out? This whole situation just keeps getting worse.
At the end of the day, it's clear that Special Counsel Smith has some things to answer. He thought he could get away with using a secret grand jury, but now it's coming back to bite him. The court should definitely not let Trump Employee 4 testify, and the shenanigans of the special counsel should come to a stop. We need to make sure that these people are responsible and can't just ignore the rules. Justice has to win!
